2019 Summer Picnic from John Campanella

On Saturday, July 13, 2019, over 80 club members and their guests enjoyed the Delaware Region Porsche Club of America’s summer picnic at Ashland Nature Center in Hockessin Delaware.

All enjoyed a fabulous catered lunch under the tent from The Meathouse Chadds Ford, some cold libations, and fresh hand-dipped ice cream from HyPoint Dairy Farms while being entertained with classic rock by Tom Esposito on acoustical guitar/ vocals and Troy Pretko on electrical guitar.

Approximately 25 Porsches competed in the street concours for the people’s choice awards. First place went to AK Kissell for his 1954 Porsche Diesel Tractor and second place to Tom Webster for his 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera. Both received a framed certificate and gift cards for the Platinum Groups’ Delaware restaurants.
